German car manufacturer Volkswagen has announced the release of what the company reckons is the ‘Ultimate’ Amarok According to the German company, Amarok Ultimate is the ‘first bakkie” in the market with Bi-xeon headlights and LED daytime running lights as standard.
The vehicle comes with other visual improvements such as dual chrome bars on the grilles and slats as well as polished 19-ich cantera alloy rims, a silver wing exterior mirrors. It also comes with a stainless steel sports bar and side steps.
Other features include LED number plate illumination, darkened rear lights and the obligatory ‘Ultimate’ lettering.
The interior of the ‘Ultimate’ Amarok has Vienna or Alcantara finished leather as well as heated front seats and unique velour floor mats aluminium pedal caps. Some other features include RCD 510 Radio/CD system with mobile phone preparation, rain sensor with intermittent wipers, auto diming rear view mirror and special velour floor mats.
However, the vehicle is only available in the 4×4 automatic guise. Other the other bakkie in the market, this particular model of teh Amarok comes with permanent four-wheel drive.
